Born and raised in Wyandotte County, Reggie Davis understands this county at a deep level. He knows the people, the challenges,  and the opportunities because he has lived them.

With 25 years as a practicing attorney, Reggie brings a  depth of legal experience that prepares him to handle the complexitie of the courtroom. He has seen the law from multiple angles, giving him the perspective needed to make thoughtful, balanced decisions. 

Reggie Davis is guided by strong character and unwavering integrity. He believes the role of a judge is to uphold the law without bias, treat every individual with respect, and ensure that justice is applied consistently and fairly. 

Reggie is not just running for a position—he is committed to leaving a legacy. His goal is to strengthen trust in the judicial system, ensure equal access to justice, and make decisions that positively impact families and Wyandotte County. 

A graduate of Sumner Academy, Class of 1981, Reginald Davis, aka Reggie, went on to earn a degree from the University of Missouri at Kansas City in 1997 before obtaining a Juris Doctor from Washburn Law School in 2000.

Licensed to practice law in both Kansas and Missouri, Reggie is also admitted to practice before the Federal District Court of Kansas. Throughout a distinguished legal career spanning more than two decades, Reggie has built a reputation as a skilled and fearless trial attorney.

Professional training includes advanced certification through the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers as well as intensive trial advocacy training at the prestigious Gerry Spence Trial Lawyer College.

With experience in more than 36 jury trials — achieving acquittals or hung juries in approximately 90% of those cases — Reggie has successfully represented clients in over 18 District Courts throughout Kansas and more than 12 Circuit Courts across Missouri.

Among numerous courtroom accomplishments, Reggie is recognized for obtaining what is believed to be the fastest “Not Guilty” jury verdict in the history of Wyandotte County.
